FOEN confirms the sustainability of Swiss wood
The long-awaited factsheet from the FOEN (Federal Office for the Environment), which guarantees the sustainability of Swiss wood, has finally arrived! This gives us a powerful tool to further strengthen (labelled) Swiss wood on the market. Wood products labelled with the “Label Swiss Wood” are proven to come from sustainable forestry and therefore also fulfil the requirements of legal wood use. In addition, the “Label Swiss Wood” certifies that production complies with ecological, social and labour law standards in Switzerland.
